Originally constructed in the late 1800s under the patronage of Thakur Kalyan Singh ji (Jodha), this enchanting estate served as a royal summer getaway for generations of the Thakurs of Junia.

Spread across a lush 8-acre expanse, Junia Bagh boasts two magnificent Mahals, each a harmonious blend of colonial and Rajasthani architectural styles. Nestled by the shores of a perennial, man-made lake, the Kalyan Mahal, also known as Jal Mahal, offers breathtaking vistas. Meanwhile, the Mahal Kesar Kothi, overlooking the lake, finds its place amidst a centuries-old Bagh, adorned with guava, lemon, and Jamun trees, as well as majestic Neem and Peepal trees. Presently, it serves as the residence of Thakur Kishore Singh and his wife, Thakurani Preeti Singh.

Drawing upon their esteemed education at Mayo College Ajmer, both Thakur Kishore Singh and his younger brother, Thakur Jitendra Singh, established Junia Bagh as a home stay in 1988. Since then, they have graciously welcomed guests from around the globe, including guests from the UK, USA, France, Spain, and Italy.
